Well, well, well... https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/06/bet-founder-trump-economy-brings-black-workers-back-into-labor-force.html?__source=sharebar|facebook&par=sharebar The growing U.S. economy and improving business environment is bringing black workers back into the labor force, BET founder Robert Johnson tells CNBC. "When you look at that, you have to say something is going right," Johnson says. Berkeley Lovelace Jr. | @BerkeleyJr Published 11 Hours Ago Updated 1 Hour AgoCNBC.com PLAY VIDEO The growing U.S. economy and improving business environment is bringing black workers back into the labor force, BET founder Robert Johnson told CNBC on Friday. Johnson, the nation's first black billionaire, spoke before Friday's jobs report, which showed nonfarm payrolls rose 103,000 in March, falling well short of the 193,000 gain economist were expecting. In January, the Labor Department reported the unemployment rate among black workers was at its lowest since at least the early 1970s, when the government began tracking the data. The unemployment rate for black Americans spiked in January and then fell in February. The rate was unchanged in March at 6.9 percent. "When you look at that [January report], you have to say something is going right," said Johnson, a Democrat and founder and chairman of The RLJ Cos. "You have to take encouragement from what's happening in the labor force and the job market," Johnson told "Squawk Box." "When you look at African-American unemployment, ... you've never had African-American unemployment this low and the spread between African-Americans and whites narrowing." Johnson said that means the jobs market is "soliciting employees who have been out of the labor force, some of it based on discrimination, some of it based on changes in education, access and technology changes." Additionally, the business environment in the U.S. is also good, Johnson said. "I believe if you take into account the Trump tax cut, you take into account the drop in unemployment, ... and you take into account that interest rates are fairly stable" the economy is going to grow, he said. "I believe the economy is on a strong growth path," he added. President Donald Trump has touted the black unemployment rate both on Twitter and his State of the Union address in January. Critics say Trump can't take full credit because black unemployment had been on the decline before Trump took office. Johnson has said he has known Trump for years. Johnson met with the then president-elect in 2016 and said he believes the president wants to work with African-Americans and all Americans to boost the economy. Johnson also spoke again about a job offer he received from Trump. He said he didn't take the unspecified position because he didn't want a government job and not because of the president's policies. An unconventional welcome sign greets visitors in western Georgia. It stands suitably outside the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, only a stone’s throw from the Alabama border, addressing would-be criminals and warning them not to cross the locals. “Welcome to Harris County, Georgia,” it reads, sarcastically adding: “Our citizens have concealed weapons. If you kill someone, we might kill you back. We have ONE jail and 356 cemeteries. Enjoy your stay! -Sheriff Mike Jolley.” The sheriff said it’s his saucy way of welcoming people to his county, while, at the same time, warning them that a number of the citizens exercise their right to bear arms. “If you come and put someone’s life in danger in Harris County, you could stand the risk of being put in danger yourself,” he told The Washington Post. The sign was put up Tuesday, amid a contentious national debate over Second Amendment rights in the wake of recent mass shootings, such as the one in February at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. Jolley said he understands that some people support guns and others do not. But he claims that, in his county, a large part of the population approves of firearms. “Georgia is very much a Second Amendment state, and Harris County is a strong Second Amendment county,” he said. In 2012, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, which investigates matters for Congress, studied state gun laws across the country. Florida was found to have the highest number of valid concealed weapons permits — 887,000 — followed by Pennsylvania and then Georgia, which had about 600,000, according to the report. Jolley said over that the past several years, concealed weapon permits in Harris County have tripled. According to recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there were 1,448 firearm deaths in Georgia in 2015. Both firearm deaths and homicides in the state were above the national average. Jolley said he is giving out-of-towners fair notice about what they can expect. “We want people to come and enjoy Harris County,” he said, “but we want them to do it in a safe manner, and we want them to know that they’re safe when they get here.” It’s not the first time Jolley had made national news with his welcomes signs. In 2015, he posted an unusual declaration wishing people a Merry Christmas. “WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect,” the sign said. “We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you … LEAVE!” Jolley said he decided to speak up with his sign because, over the years, he had watched “the silent majority” grow even “more silent.” “It’s time for the silent majority to stand up for our beliefs and not be ashamed,” he told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer at the time. Jolley said he changes the signs about every eight months or so and pays for them out of his own pocket. Since he has put up the most recent one, he said, the response has been about “99.9 percent positive.” But the sheriff doesn’t seem to mind a little controversy, either. “I’ve been in office a long time,” he said, “so I like to stir the pot.”

More recently, Matt Ryan performed to an elite level in 2016, but nowhere near that in 2015 or 17. Kurt Warner looked elite in STL. and at times in ARI., but in NY, he looked lost. What kind of numbers could Calvin Johnson have put up with a supporting cast like Antonio Brown's?

Because it is: Agents Arrest Another Illegal Alien Convicted of Rape Release Date: January 11, 2018 TUCSON, Ariz. – For the second time in less than a week, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Nogales Station arrested an illegal alien previously deported following a rape conviction in the United States. In the most recent incident, agents patrolling west of Nogales Wednesday evening arrested Samuel Nungaray-Cons, a 35-year-old Mexican man, for being illegally present in the country. During processing, agents conducted a records check on Nungaray and learned he was previously deported following a rape conviction and incarceration in 2005 in Bonneville County, Idaho. Four days earlier, on Jan. 8, agents from the Nogales Station arrested a 33-year-old Mexican man convicted of rape in the state of Washington. Like the man arrested Jan. 8, Nungaray will remain in federal custody pending prosecution for criminal immigration violations involving re-entry of an aggravated felon. All persons apprehended by the Border Patrol undergo criminal history checks using biometrics to ensure illegal immigrants with criminal histories are positively identified. https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/local-media-release/agents-arrest-another-illegal-alien-convicted-rape Ajo Agents Arrest Illegal Alien Convicted of Rape and Assault Release Date: January 16, 2018 TUCSON, Ariz. – Border Patrol agents assigned to the Ajo Station arrested a Mexican man Sunday morning with a conviction for rape and assault in Marion County, Oregon in 2012. Forty-three-year-old Daniel Hernandez Del Angel, a native of Mexico, has been living illegally in the country for the past 22 years, according to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office. Officers opened an investigation into Del Angel in April 2017 when it was determined that Del Angel had sexual relations with a 7-year-old girl over a six month period. Del Angel was arrested on January 25, charged with first degree rape and molestation of a juvenile, and booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility, according to the BPSO. On February 13, Del Angel was arrested again and charged with molesting the 7-year-old girl’s mother on at least two occasions in 2003, when she was only 11-years-old. Del Angel has known the family of his two victims for decades, according to the BPSO. He remains behind bars with a $550,000 bond. Bossier Corrections officers have been working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. http://wgno.com/2018/02/16/illegal-alien-charged-with-molesting-and-raping-7-year-old-girl-and-her-mother/ Illegal Alien Sentenced for Illegally Re-entering United States After Rape Conviction Southern District of Mississippi Gulfport, Miss. – Cosme Pimental-Armenta, age 39, a citizen of Mexico, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden to 21 months in prison, the highest guideline sentence available to the judge, for the crime of illegal re-entry by deported alien after a conviction for an aggravated felony, announced U.S. Attorney Mike Hurst and Joseph Banco, Chief Patrol Agent of the U.S. Border Patrol’s New Orleans Sector. Pimental-Armenta pled guilty on October 24, 2017. Upon release from prison, he was ordered to be placed on supervised release for three years. He was also ordered to pay a special assessment of $100. Any return to the United States during the period of his supervised release period will constitute a violation of the defendant’s supervised release. On August 30, 2017, a Border Patrol agent assigned to the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop for careless driving on a 2008 Toyota Tundra with a Texas license plate in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. During the stop, Pimental-Armenta handed the agent a Florida driver’s license that identified himself as Danthony Martinez-Rivas. The agent asked Pimental-Armenta if he had ever been arrested and Pimental-Armenta stated that he had not. The agent questioned Pimental-Armenta as to his citizenship and he told the agent that he was a United States citizen from Puerto Rico. The agent finger-printed him and discovered that he was an illegal alien from Mexico. Records further revealed that Pimental-Armenta had earlier been removed from the United States on July 26, 2004, and had been previously convicted in Orange County, California, of forcible rape on April 5, 2002. "The President and Attorney General Sessions have made border security and immigration enforcement a priority for our country. We will continue to do our part in making sure Americans are safe by vigorously prosecuting violent criminals like this who blatantly violate our laws," said U.S. Attorney Hurst. "As this conviction illustrates, the U.S. Border Patrol New Orleans Sector and the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team, through its ongoing integrated enforcement efforts serves as a prime example of our joint commitment to prevent potentially dangerous people from reaching our communities," said Chief Banco. U.S. Attorney Hurst praised the diligent work and cooperation exhibited by U.S. Border Patrol agents and the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jay Golden prosecuted the case. https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdms/pr/illegal-alien-sentenced-illegally-re-entering-united-states-after-rape-conviction

Allow me to translate..... JB is retired, so he pays little in taxes. He’ll tell you I’m wrong, I’m not. His causes are marching against Trump, or rallying for legalization of weed. That’s it. He’ll tell you I’m wrong, I’m right. He spends his discretionary income on Bucs tickets, helping to line the pockets of billionaires who he despises. Again, I’m right. He had a chance to help family in Puerto Rico and said he couldn’t because his pockets were light. But he blamed Trump for the Hurricane. I made a donation to Hurricane Harvey victims and he later made that into a political sideswipe, yet he did nothing. The fact he won’t answer Ron’s question is telling. So in summary, he contributes little and takes what he can. Finally, he’ll reply with EAT SHIT commentary in all caps. He’s an epic loser.
