Did i hear someone say budding?

Well in my viewpoint he’s already playing at star level. Dude played lights out as a rookie.  I just didn’t want to say the obvious.

49ers now saying Foster’s future with the team under great scrutiny.

Wow, this dude may flame out after 1 season.

Yes?

How do you, now, feel about the Saints getting Ram instead of Foster?

I feel like the Saints as an organization failed this kid on every level.

They had a chance to keep him close to Bama, keep him level headed and in check. Instead they allowed him to go off to California, fuck his life up and they have the worst LB's in the NFL to show for it.

At least they got a serviceable lineman for a few seasons though.

I think he can slide right in at OLG, once the Saints decline Peat's 5th year option.

Peat allowed 1 sack all year at guard. 15 total pressures. He's not going anywhere, as much as you'd like to laugh about him busting.

You have $10M to spend at OLG in 2019?

Sure, its about winning now and you have to keep the OL as in-tact as possible for Brees.

Projected 36m

Biggest free agents: Ingram, Peat, Crawley (RFA), Snead (likely gone if he doesn't bounce back), Davison, and Lutz. There's depth guys like Kikaha, Robertson, Te'o, Hill, and Watson but nobody who breaks the bank.

Not including players who are likely to be cut:

Fleener: 9m (5.8m saved) - if he doesn't bounce back

Klein: 6m (4m saved) - I always thought he was a stop-gap/bridge guy for 2-3 years. He's gone by 2020 IMHO

Okafor: 4.475m (3.725m) - if he doesn't recover
