How is your boo doing this year Ray ? Is he living up to the 10 million you guys are paying him ?

Peat at 9.6mil is still worth it to keep this line intact and playing like it is currently

At least its not paying Beasley 12.8mil for nothing

Laugh all you want bitches.

Peat is a starter on one of the best Olines in football. Dude can play LG and LT. That’s extremely versatile. Coaches love that.

I’m sure the Saints could improve at LG, but if you fools don’t believe he will land a huge contract in free agency, you’re kidding yourselves.

Not to the Saints fans who actually watch him play. He’s a fucking monster in the run game and more than adequate in the passing game.

If he landed in Free Agency (he won’t) he would be a 1st day signing to a major contract.

I like Peat.

Not worth the 13th pick.

Not worth the money he’s about to get.

Hoping we can upgrade the LG spot with him gone. It’s the weak link, imo.

i'll be honest, i think warford is the weaker link.

you see mccoy shade to the right alot more than left, peat goes 1v1  a lot more and the left side is more secure IMHO

Peat is an easy target because he hasn’t been dominant as you’d expect for a 1st rounder. He’s been above average in the run game and average in pass protection. He’d start for 1/2 of the teams in the NFL.

Yet, you'd rather eat $10M and let him walk than give him a new contract?

I don’t get a vote.

I do trust the Front Office because they always field a strong Oline.

eat 10 mil?

he's playing this year. he's a free agent. he's going to be paid next year by some team.

we can't afford everyone that has been a solid or plus contributor the next two offseasons. Gotta pick who can stay/who can go.

2020: 20mil in space before cuts and all
Apple #2 CB - gotta keep him unless we're priced out

Ginn #2 WR - he gone

Peat Starting LG - he gone

PJ Williams #3CB/#1NCB - he gone (CJ Gardner Johnson)

Bell Starting SS - gotta keep him

Onyemata #3DT - he gone unless he's cheap

Hill, Brees, and Bridgewater - 2 of 3 stay.

Likely re-sign Hill, Brees, Bell, Apple and that's it

2021: 91mil

Warford

Klein

Rankins

Edwards

Williams

Kamara

Anzalone

Hendrickson

lots of big names

I watch him play every week. He’s no bottom feeder. No way the Saints offense achieves what it does over the last 5 years if that were true.

Simply not true on tape. Peat wins much fewer reps than Warford.
