The 1750 HP 300+ MPH Car

That’s badass.

I talked a few years ago with Nelson about building an engine for me, but the $$$$$$$ were ridiculously high. Built it at a place in Houston instead. They do build the best however. Go to the Nelson Race Engines site and there are a bunch of great videos.

Batteries are growing in popularity, but gas engines still rule the racing scene. They make sweet music.

Yes, I love the music.

Fact is, electric cars are unstoppable when it comes to speed. The top gas powered car will not take the new Tesla in a drag.

The Tesla will crush it by at least 1 second in a drag.

These cars are fucking insane.

Get used to it. It's the future.

Fuck electric cars.

I’ll always prefer fuel guzzling, cammed up fender shaking V8 powered American cars.

Like my buddies 1030’s Fiat Street Rod we cruised with last weekend.

The Chevelle runs a 402 with a nice cam setup.

I owned a 70 Chevelle with a 396 back in the late 70’s/early 80’s. Sold it for $2,500 and used the money to remodel a kitchen. Being married with 2 kids forced my hand.

When I was a teenage I had a buddy with a Pontiac Lemans that we juiced up pretty good. We used to take it out to what we call the spillway levee in LaPlace and drive that fucker at high speed and practice spins and slides flying down the embankments. You learn a lot about driving at the razors edge doing that. To this day, when I’m running a car at full throttle it takes a lot for me to back out. I’m pretty comfortable with the cars ass end getting squirrelly and driving thru it. I have a few friends who won’t sit in the passenger seat when I road race the TransAm.
